Sorry for late posting. I had a difficult time on making storyboard and scenario last week. My scenario is apocalyptic caused by climate change.

Scenario will be in 2050, 40 years later from now.

In 2050, global warming and destroyed environments cause global climate change. This crazy weather brings a new disaster to human. My main character is a supercog, he is a young biogeographer who working at research institute in North Pole. One day he see interesting news that while existing biota in Amazon rainforest keep exterminating, many rare varieties are increasing. He has having interest in equatorial ecosystem usual, so he decided to travel Brazil to study Amazon’s biogeography.

By Global warming, glaciers in pole areas are melting and water is crowding especially in equator areas. Brazil, the most plentiful region of water, suffers from water as the sea level goes up every year. They have been preparing for the disaster since 2040 by constructing artificial lands for agriculture and city under water.

Recently sea level rapidly goes up, and people complete construction of under water city in a rush. Low-lying areas are flooding, and the rest of lands are not enough to use it for agriculture. Finally people start to fell forest trees in Amazon to make land into cultivation.

When geographer arrives in Brazil, condition was much more serious than he expected.

Subterranean water is polluted by flooding; there is not enough drinking water for people. Even though there was high tech underwater city, it is difficult to accommodate all people because space is limited. So rich people go to safe place, poor people were left above the water. They have to reside top of waste building or live like a wanderer.

He can stay at the laboratory in underwater city which is provided by government. He comes out of underwater city and go Amazon to research biogeography. He attacked by unknown species of creature, and save his life by helping of Amazon Indians.

When he comes back to city, many of people who left on the ground (above water) are killed by plague. He has to go back to North Pole and he sees ground.
